Scroll

What is Scroll?

Definition

Scroll is the action of shifting the visible portion of a page, document, or window to reveal content that extends beyond the screen. It changes which part of the content is in view without altering the content itself, and can occur vertically or horizontally through input devices such as a mouse, trackpad, or scrollbar. This matters because it allows continuous access to longer content while preserving its structure and position.
