Delete

What is Delete?

Definition

Delete is the action of removing a file, folder, or piece of content from its current location. Depending on the system and item involved, the deleted content may be moved to a temporary holding area, such as the Recycle Bin, before permanent removal. This helps users manage storage and keep information organized by removing items that are no longer needed.
